ABC has promoted a fan-favorite show that is on its way back after being off-air for years.
The TV network announced on Friday that media host John Quiñones was going to reassume his role on What Would You Do?

A promo snap for What Would You Do? was shared jointly on the official Instagram accounts of the ABC Network and What Would You Do?
John, 71, smiled in his suave suit as he appeared to be sitting.
Written next to the shot of him was the date that his program was coming back, which was Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 10 p.m.
“Mark your calendars! #WhatWouldYouDo? with @johnquinones returns Sunday, February 18 at 10pm ET on @abcnetwork! #WWYD #wwydabc,” the post’s caption read.
Fans were thrilled about the news, taking to the comment section to express their excitement.
“Yayyyyy!!!!! Love this show!,” a fan shared, and another added: “Can’t wait!”
A third person cosigned: “So excited! Will the new episodes be on YouTube as well?”
What Would You Do? hasn’t aired since 2019.
BACK IN EFFECT
ABC has a habit of bringing old shows back to life.
In June, the television station revived Extreme Makeover: Home Edition with hosts from Netflix.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition had a successful run on the ABC for over nine seasons, beginning in 2004 and ending in 2012.
Almost a decade after the show wrapped, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was restored for a season on HGTV in 2020.
Ty Pennington, 58, hosted the show when it originally aired from 2004-2012, and the first reboot on HGTV.
This time, however, Clea Shearer, 41, and Joanna Teplin, 44, were tasked to co-host the second reinstatement of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
The pair of besties co-founded the lifestyle brand The Home Edit and hosted the Netflix series Get Organized with The Home Edit from 2020 to 2022.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition planned to “showcase great stories, inspired volunteers, and mind-blowing home renovations and builds for families who give back to their communities,” TVLine reported.
Serving as showrunner for the revamped series is Shyam Balsé.
Executive producing alongside Shyam are Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre, Michael Heyerman, Reese Witherspoon, Sara Rea, and Cassie Lambert Scalettar,” the publication noted.
THINGS TO COME
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, showed Clea and Joanna helping out “deserving families” who need either a new home or home refurbishment,” TVLine explained.
Builders, contractors, and design experts will be working alongside the new hosts to help transform each home.
Of course, everyone in charge of the home renovation process will alter the houses according to the desires of the families they’re doing it for.
Clea and Jonna’s main job will be to utilize their organizing expertise to help families declutter their spaces.
That way, the families’ new residences are “built for success,” TVLine revealed.
