After one viral video during the pandemic, and with some help from her devoted husband, she achieved exactly that.

Who is Sheena Melwani?
The mum-of-two grew up making music, singing in choirs, churches, weddings, and bands.
But her musical career took a back seat after she had her children and decided she wanted to be as present as possible with them.
When Covid hit, the 40-year-old Canadian-American YouTuber kept herself busy by performing live concerts online for her friends and family.
A video featuring her husband, under the alias The Real Indian Dad and with his face hidden behind an emoji, went viral in 2020 with her followers desperate for more unfiltered clips of their family.
The real identity of Sheena’s husband, who keeps his real face covered despite his family’s huge and growing online popularity, remains a mystery to many.
Beneath a family photo of Sheena, her husband in character, and their two kids, one fan wrote: “I’m new here and love your family.. wondering why you cover his face?”
Who is Sheena Melwani’s husband Dinesh Melwani?
The Melwanis decided to lean into The Real Indian Dad character, or Trid as he came to be known, and created a TikTok and Instagram account for him.
In his videos, Sheena’s husband continued to keep his face hidden behind an emoji sticker that bore a resemblance to his real features.
The man behind the sticker is Dinesh Melwani, a 45-year-old transactional attorney at law firm Mintz who advises US and international clients in a range of corporate matters.
He attended Concordia University and McGill University and has lived many lives, spending at least a year in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Belize, Canada, Japan, and the United States.
According to Mintz’ website, if Dinesh wasn’t a lawyer he would be “helping my wife further develop her singing and content creation career”.
He said his favourite apps are TikTok, Reddit, Instagram, and Discord.
The Trid character explained on Sheena’s website that he would one day reveal his true identity.
He said: “I will do a face reveal, just don’t bloody know how to do it now. Maybe I’ll sneak into a music video?
“Now, for a serious note, THANK YOU. My family would not be checking off ‘bucket list’ items in this crazy way without your support.
“I can only hope we bring you as much joy as you have brought us.”
Sheena and Dinesh have two kids together: Jae and Zara.
