Earlier this week, Britney scared her social media following as she showcased her fancy footwork armed with a butchers’ knife in each hand.
It saw the mom swinging knives around her living room as she posed in an orange crop top inside her $8million Los Angeles, California mansion.
Now Britney is back without props for a sultry boogie showing her writhing around and twirling on the spot.
She was seen in a long-sleeve white crop top which flashed her abs paired with hot pink bikini bottoms pulled down precariously low.
Britney – who split from her husband, Sam Asghari, 29, earlier this year – left her blonde hair in beachy waves and added her signature slick of thick black eyeliner.
In her caption, she wrote: “The end of the song … when people are truly traumatized, it’s hard to stay present. I think it’s beautiful how she repeats you’re still here.”
She accompanied her routine to the Indila track, Love Story.
Britney disabled the comments on her post so her moves took centre stage.
FAN SLAM
Britney’s recent knife video was enough to worry the police, as they paid a visit to Britney‘s home shortly after the post surfaced, according to TMZ.
The source added that “several people called the cops after Britney posted the knife video,” and “one of them is a person who actually did a welfare check on her in the past.”
The officers left after determining she was safe, the informant told TMZ.
The individual was reportedly “alarmed” by the clip.
Britney herself took to social media to slam fans for raising the alarm and claimed that the fearsome-looking knives were harmless props, telling worried fans to “lighten up”.
The singer — troubled for years by mental health issues — posted: “I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are not real knives.
“No one needs to worry or call the police.”
“I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira … a performance I was inspired by!
“Cheers to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks.”
CLAP BACK
Britney has used her page to clap back at the recent flurry of concern.
She shared a pic on her Instagram along with an angry caption, showing a ballerina standing on the ends of two knives.
Brit explained that people do “four-minute performances” with knives and wondered why she couldn’t perform with the utensils in her own home.
In her caption, she said: “Is it a joke in the news again with welfare checks??? Come on America … we cooler than that, right ??? The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people do 4 minute performances with them.
“I am getting an apology. I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now…ITS ENOUGH! Don’t talk about it, come on, let’s DO !!! As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I’m in the wrong…nope it’s an old game.”
The singer continued: “People need to be responsible for their actions! It’s about power for cops.”
