Ava has been on an extended trip to the mostly-tropical continent, having been in Brazil for weeks.
In her most recent social media shots, the young woman captured some sun-drenched moments with friends.
One golden hour selfie showed Ava and a pal making the most of the evening sun, with Ava throwing a peace sign while her skin glowed in the light.
In another photo, Ava and the same friend were joined by a young and an elderly man as they gathered in a kitchen.
Ava pouted at the camera in selfie mode, and she captured the older man as he prepared to cut open a fresh coconut with a machete.
Finally, Ava posted a snap of herself and her friend on a beach in Rio de Janeiro.
The brunette beauty had her hair tied back, and went completely makeup-free for the day by the sea.
Ava sported a tiny gold bikini top, showing off her tan as she pouted at the camera with a tote bag slung over her shoulder.
PARTY GIRL
Last week, Ava shared snapshots from a wild night out with friends in Rio.
In one video, she captured a moment from the inside of a club, packed to the brim with people dancing in the dark.
Another image showed her hand as she held an Aperol spritz at an outside bar.
Ava captured her hand as she raised her cocktail alongside her group of male friends seated around the table.
The aspiring musician has posted plenty of content from her time in Brazil, including plenty of bikini shots and the country’s beautiful nature.
MAMA DRAMA
Amy was married to Ava’s father Tim McIntosh from 1996 until 2009- they also share 17-year-old Annie alongside Ava.
In 2010, the news anchor married actor Andrew Shue and the couple was together until her sordid affair came to light.
Amy and TJ Holmes‘ affair scandal saw them ousted from the show.
Back in November, the stars – who were both married to other people – were caught on PDA-filled dates.
According to reports, they had been having an affair for months.
ABC took the duo off the air after the controversy, and they were formally let go from their positions in January.
Since the news broke, TJ and Amy have made no secret of their relationship in public.
They were caught kissing and cuddling during a steamy getaway to Miami days after Christmas, and have frequently been spotted going on walks and runs together in recent weeks.
