Who is Mitchel Taylor?

Mitchel Taylor is a 26-year-old gas engineer from Sheffield who is appearing on Love Island 2023.

Speaking to ITV, he said: “I thrive on being a gentleman. I’ll shower you with flowers, I’ll take you on dates, I’ll fill your bedside drawer with your favourite sweets and chocolate.

“I’ve been single, I’ve had my fun and now I want to settle down.

“I’m just really picky. I’ve got to find the girl that I want to marry and have kids with.

“I’m nearly 27, I don’t want to play the field anymore, I want to find the one.”

A source previously said: “Mitchel is hot stuff, and he’s ready to find love in the villa.”

They continued to tell the Mirror: “When he’s not pumping water, he’s pumping iron, so the girls will swoon over his hunky physique and piercing blue eyes. And he’s a real family boy, too.”

Love Island will kick off on Monday, June 5, 2022 on ITV2 at 9pm.

It will continue at the same time every Sunday to Friday, which each episode lasting around an hour.

On Saturday nights a highlights show will air instead.
