SAVED By The Bell’s Zack Morris and AC Slater were inseparable at the show’s fictional Bayside High School.
This week they were reunited – or at least the actors who played them, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Mario Lopez, were.

The pair both turned up at 90s Con, a retro event celebrating the best of the decade’s culture.
Mario – who now is a big star on US telly, fronting the American version of The X Factor – smiled for cameras.
Mark-Paul didn’t seem quite so happy in the shot, where he was seen with black-rimmed glasses on.
It has been three decades since they last appeared together in the classic sitcom, an early-morning teen hit when it aired in the UK.
However, they both had roles in the series’ 2020 reboot, which was cancelled after two series.
Mario has been married twice, to actress Ali Landry and then to Courtney Laine Mazza, who he met in Broadway show A Chorus Line.
They have three children – Gia, 12, Dominic, nine, and Santino, three.
Meanwhile, Mark-Paul he married model and actress Lisa Ann Russell, who had appeared in an episode of Saved by the Bell: The College Years, in 1996.
They had children Michael, 19, and Ava, 16, but split in 2010.
He later married Catriona McGinn and had another two children – son Dekker, nine, and daughter Lachlyn, eight.
The other male member of the Saved By The Bell gang was Screech, who was played by Dustin Diamond, who died aged 44 in 2021.
The new show aired a montage of some of their best moments with Screech, indicating that the character had died too.
The trio were matched on the show by three girls – Tiffani Thiessen as Kelly Kapowski, Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Spano and Lark Voorhies’ Lisa Turtle.
