LOVE Island fans were stunned to see their favourite show return with Maya Jama – but just for a one-off special for Red Nose Day.
The hit dating show was back on our screens tonight but on a different channel – BBC – to raise money for Comic Relief.

Love Island fans all said the same thing as show returned on new channel – but there was a twist.
Instead of the regular faces fans got to know on Winter Love Island in South Africa, the main character was a comic called Chabuddy who sent up the whole show.
After bungling his way through his date, and getting her name wrong throughout, the bombshell decided to recouple with himself.
It led to host Maya Jama disqualifying the leopard print wearing comic – as he headed off to spend a night in the hideaway.
Comic Relief fans were left baffled by the show switching from ITV to BBC and flocked to Twitter to comment.
One said: “This love island segment!”
Another said: “What’s with this guy trying to copy Ali G on Love Island.”
A third said: “I’ve never watched Love Island, are these real contestants.”
A fourth chimed in: “This Love Island sketch is amazing!!!! So funny! Love him.”
Meanwhile Comic Relief fans were expecting Ofcom to be inundated with a flurry of complaints after newsreader Naga Munchetty ‘swore’ on screen.
The BBC broadcaster appeared to turn the air blue 45 minutes before the 9pm watershed thanks to a joke she was asked to read out.
In a funny skit, a slew of famous newsreaders were handed a piece of paper with a series of jokes to read out.
But not all fans were amused by Naga’s offering.
She was seen on the iconic red BBC Breakfast sofa as she told her co-star Charlie Stayt: “I went to the zoo the other day, there was only one dog in it. It was a Shih Tzu.”
Charlie laughed, but Naga didn’t appear to clock that her quip sounded exactly like she was saying: “It was a s*** zoo.”
