Rita shared a sweet post to wish the iconic model a happy 49th birthday.
The popstar wore her natural curls loose and added a touch of glamour with a pair of lace gloves, accessorised with multiple rings.
Rita opted for heavy eye make-up, with winged eyeliner, while Kate opted for a more subtle look.
Fashion designer Kate looked effortlessly chic in a black sequin gown with sheer sleeves.
The pair beamed for as they warmly embraced each other at an event.
Rita shared a touching message, writing: “Happy birthday to everybody’s favourite icon. I love you, thank you for always being there for me with a smile.”

It comes after The Masked Singer star revealed her latest tattoo, and a lot of underboob, as she shared a picture from the tattooist’s chair.
The songstress reclined and lifted her black top up to her chest to reveal the intricate line design by the side of her breast.
It appeared to be the outline of a woman but it is unclear if it is the finished article.
Rita has more than 30 inkings on her body.
The singer recently had her tattoos on show for a promotional snap as to announce her new single.
