Josh Duggar sentencing live updates — Anna Duggar would not start ‘a new life with another man’ after husband’s sentence

FOLLOWING Josh Duggar’s prison sentence, Anna Duggar is not considering leaving him to start a new life with someone else.

Josh, 34, was found guilty of possessing and receiving child pornography on December 9 after a nearly two-week trial and was sentenced to 151 months – almost 12-and-a-half years – for the crimes on May 25.

Anna, 34, was at her husband’s side during his child pornography trial and sentencing, and according to a source close to her, she does not plan on leaving him for another man while he serves his sentence.

An insider told In Touch: “She’s not the type to look for or even consider starting a new life with another man, but there are plenty of upstanding, religious men in the church who would appreciate and take care of a woman like Anna. There’s a lot of sympathy for her.”

Anna, who shares seven kids with Josh, “doesn’t consider divorce an option,” according to the insider, but “has thought about” legal separation from him.

Although Josh’s cousin Amy Duggar King gave Anna her consent to legally split from him, divorce is frowned upon in the Duggar family. Given the allegations against her husband, she advised Anna that there is “no shame” in divorcing him, In Touch reported.
